In just the past year, institutions in Colorado won $290 million in federal funding to support deep tech industries, including semiconductors, quantum and climate resilience. Colorado’s strength at leveraging and winning federal funding opportunities will lead to higher paying jobs at numerous skill levels and bolstering our economy in key advanced industries. Each of the three mentioned industries addresses an urgent technological need and Colorado’s ecosystem—from its infrastructure to its workforce—displays the necessary commitment to finding solutions for these demands.

Melio Selects Colorado to Power its Explosive U.S. Growth

DENVER – Melio, a leading business-to-business payments platform in the U.S. for small businesses, has selected Colorado for its western U.S. headquarters and plans to begin recruiting for 250 new jobs in the state. The global payments company headquartered in New York and founded in Israel, chose Colorado for its centralized location, convenient access to domestic and global markets and its perennial talent attraction. 

Australian Based Company “Finder” Chooses Colorado’s Mile High Tech Density for US Expansion

DENVER – Finder, an Australian fintech company that provides users with an app-based financial comparison tool for making decisions about personal purchases, has selected Colorado as its second US hub. Finder’s new greater Denver area hub, which will be leveraged as they scale up, will house 198 net new jobs that include product managers, software engineers, and app developers.

New Zealand-born FileInvite Selects Colorado for US Headquarters

DENVER — FileInvite, a New Zealand software as a service (SaaS) technology company, has announced Colorado as the site of their US headquarters, bringing more than 140 new jobs with them to the state. 

“In addition to 140 good-paying new jobs to Colorado, FileInvite brings a spotlight of global awareness to Colorado’s technology sector,” said Governor Jared Polis. “We are the best location for companies from across the world seeking to invest and grow in the US market and we welcome Fileinvite to our great state.”

LONE Program Accelerates Pax8’s Rural Initiative

In early 2020, Pax8, a homegrown cloud distribution technology company based in Greenwood Village, Colorado, developed an initiative that would expand its workforce to rural areas of Colorado. The goal was to create a positive social impact in the state while also growing the company's diversity. By increasing its recruiting efforts outside of Denver, Pax8 hoped to attract people with different backgrounds and experiences, driving the progression of Pax8's diversity-driven culture.

DENVER – Governor Jared Polis and the Office of Economic Development and International Trade announced today that VIZIO (NYSE: VZIO), the American-based television innovator, has selected Denver as home for its new tech innovation office. VIZIO’s latest domestic expansion will add more than 100 new Colorado-based tech career opportunities to the company’s new Denver operations.
