The Governor’s Awards for Outstanding Colorado Tourism Efforts honor individuals and organizations by recognizing excellence in the Colorado tourism industry. Awards are presented at the Colorado Governor's Tourism Conference each fall during an awards ceremony. For more information please visit the awards page.
The Colorado Tourism Office offers two scholarships to help tourism professionals and students offset the cost of attending the conference for the first time.
The Colorado Governor's Tourism Conference Professional Scholarship helps tourism professionals attend the Colorado Governor's Tourism Conference (Gov Con) for the first time. The scholarship includes conference registration and hotel. All other expenses and transport are the scholarship recipient's responsibility.
The Colorado Governor's Tourism Conference Student Scholarship helps college and university students attend the Governor's Tourism Conference (Gov Con) for the first time. Students interested in travel and tourism will learn about the industry, develop their skills, and network with industry professionals.
