Hi, friend. I’m Aly.

Before I discovered yoga, I worked 60 plus hour weeks in Silicon Valley as an Executive Assistant. Twenty years into my career, I experienced chronic joint pain and high level anxiety. I knew I had to find a holistic outlet to address my joint pain and anxiety. I began taking restorative yoga once a week at various local studios and immediately found sanctuary on the mat. Within a year, my joint pain was gone, my anxiety was significantly reduced and my yoga practice became the most important part of my life. In 2019, after much reflection I made the decision to leave the corporate fast track lifestyle and began to study yoga full time.

During the Covid pandemic, I completed my 200 hour Yoga Teacher Training at Yoga Faith. I am honored to be able to teach my students how to find peace within themselves. Another benefit for my students is that they find muscles where they didn't know they had them!

What I most enjoy about Yoga is that there is no “end” or perfect pose. When I share my love of yoga with my Christian friends, I feel I am following what gift the Lord has blessed me with. I feel at home and at peace on the mat being a vessel for the Lord to work through.
