The Governor’s Awards for Outstanding Colorado Tourism Efforts honor six individuals and organizations that improve and innovate Colorado’s tourism industry. Awards are presented at the Governor's Tourism Conference each fall.

Moffat County Tourism Association (MCTA) was approved to participate in the Restart Destinations Program by the Colorado Tourism Office (CTO) in July 2021. Program objectives included:
Capital Sisters International, a nonprofit connecting impoverished women in developing countries who need tiny business loans with investors willing to provide them, won the Impact Pitch event at the International Women’s Forum Conference held in Denver, September 23 - 25, 2021.

Northwest Cultural Heritage Program (NWCOCHP) was approved to participate in the Restart Industry Associations Program by the Colorado Tourism Office (CTO) in September 2021.
Fort Sedgwick Historical Society (FSHS) was approved to participate in the Restart Industry Associations Program by the Colorado Tourism Office (CTO) in September 2021.
Pikes Peak Outdoor Recreation Alliance (PPORA) was approved to participate in the Restart Industry Associations Program by the Colorado Tourism Office (CTO) in September 2021.
Colorado Distillers Guild (CDG) was approved to participate in the Restart Industry Associations Program by the Colorado Tourism Office (CTO) in September 2021.
