This month, we hope all of you will join us in educating residents and visitors alike to care for the extraordinarily diverse populations of wild animals that call Colorado home.

EDA Awards State of Colorado Grant to Support Two Economic Recovery Programs

Colorado was awarded two CARES Act Recovery Assistance planning grants from the U.S. Economic Development Administration to support Colorado’s economic recovery, including tourism, from the impacts of COVID-19.

The two programs are outlined below to help our partners identify which programs are relevant for their communities. Communities are eligible to participate in both programs.

That's why this month, we hope you'll join us in encouraging residents and visitors alike to practice responsible recreation with their pets. As we know, few things irritate outdoor stewards more than seeing wildlife disrupted by unleashed dogs or finding a poop bag on a favorite trail.

U.S. EDA Awards $2.4 Million to Drive Colorado Tourism Industry Recovery

Grant tees up $3 million in recovery work, including $1 million in grants to stakeholders

Jan. 19, 2021 - The Colorado Tourism Office (CTO) has secured $2.4 million in CARES Act Recovery Assistance from the U.S. Economic Development Administration (EDA), funding recovery work that will include direct assistance for more than 30 Colorado destinations and up to 20 tourism-related industry groups.

DENVER - The Ouray Ice Climbing Competition Finals will be live-streamed around the world on Saturday January 23, 2021 (11 am to 2 pm MST; 1800 to 2100 GMT), thanks to an unprecedented collaboration of Colorado government, private and non-profit organizations.
